You can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your game console’s storefront to prevent accidental purchases or those done by someone who has stolen your identity. Go into your console settings, then into account settings and from there you should be able to enable 2FA for all purchases. This means that every time you make a purchase, the storefront will prompt you to enter a single-use code that is sent to your phone number or an email address that’s associated with your account.
