Disable WPS on your home Wi-Fi router

Most home Wi-Fi routers have a WPS button on them. This button allows you to connect to the Wi-Fi network without a password and therefore presents a liability to your home digital network security. Fortunately, you can easily disable this button. The method to do so varies from one manufacturer to another, but it’s generally achieved by opening a browser on your computer and entering a specific IP address to access your network settings.
