Audit app permissions

For apps that you haven’t used in a long time — or some of the ones that came preinstalled on your device — you may not have ever looked at what permissions have been allowed. It’s worth taking some to check through these to make sure you’re not giving away too much of your personal information. For many, you can now adjust them to only permit certain accesses while you are using the app. This allows you to use the app to its fullest, but denies access to things like your microphone when the app isn’t in use.
